This isn’t VBS. It’s not a drop-off event or a high-energy play day. Family Connection Day is a simple but deeply meaningful experience where the whole family slows down and grows closer—to each other and to the Lord.

Set against the peaceful backdrop of Splendor Mountain in Tiger, GA, this all-ages event is designed to help families unplug from distractions and reconnect through hands-on games, crafts, snacks, and an interactive devotional woven into every activity. Each element engages all five senses to reinforce a single faith-filled truth—without the noise, flashing lights, or screens.

It’s more than fun—it’s discipleship in action. And it just might be a pivotal day for your family if you let the Lord work through it. You’ll walk away not only with sweet memories, but with simple, practical tools to continue building on these moments at home.

After the main activities, families are encouraged to stay and enjoy more time together. Bring swim clothes and towels to splash in the pond, plus picnic blankets or chairs to soak in the beauty of the mountain setting.

Snacks will be dye-free and nut-free, with gluten-free options available to help make the experience enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Want to turn it into a full weekend retreat? On-site cabins are available to book—perfect for one or even two families to share. Each cabin includes multiple beds, a full kitchen, living area, and a peaceful screened-in porch to relax and unwind. At night, gather around a bonfire overlooking the mountain scenery with s'mores or your favorite campfire treat! If you'd like to stay overnight, just leave a note at checkout, and we’ll follow up to help make your stay even more meaningful and special.
